Join us today on our Facebook Site and let’s don’t give Endometriosis a fighting chance in our lives!

Fact is, most practicing in medicine, especially the male population, can’t even relate to the pain and discomfort we are going through on a daily basis and the medicine up till now failed providing cure or side effect free relief from Endometriosis.  Endometriosis seen from the medical point is a common gynecological disorder, affecting an estimated 176 million women worldwide regardless of their ethnic and social background.

As a woman affected by Endometriosis myself, I have been relying on the pharmaceutical medicine for years. In my case, Vicodin and Ibuprofen have been on my daily schedule as others would use Vitamins. Of course with all these heavy narcotic pain meds my body was poisoned and other side effects turned up, like break out in my face and back, dry skin, moods swings, fatigue, depression and so many more.

I went through all the recommended surgeries, like D&C, laparoscopy and even hysterectomy.

None of the above gave me any relief!  Please don’t believe if you been told hysterectomy will STOP Endo. I remember asking my doctor the day of my Pre-Op, if hysterectomy finally will save me and the doctor looked at me and said “Of course, If there’s no uterus there can’t grow Endo”. Sure the doctor was partially correct, no uterus, no more new tissue outside my uterus but what was conveniently left out that there’s no way that the existing Endo tissue will be completely removed during surgery and the few tissues left behind will inflame and grow back and give you the exact crucial bloated belly, pelvic and back pain as you had before. I was pain free for approx. 6 weeks after hysterectomy. It was a big price to pay for only 6 weeks.

For over 7 years I was the perfect guinea pig for medical studies to the local doctors, until my frustration and pain made me turn away from the medical field. I also was worried that all the pharmaceutical treatments would leave a toll on my body and actually damage more in the long run than it does me good in the short term.  The only thing I had to lose in my case was high medical bills, prescription costs, and terrible side effects from all the hormone and narcotic pain medication treatments.

My first step was concentrating on myself and my body and mind. I understood I had to think selfish and only take care of myself from the inside out.  I turned my back to my unhealthy lifestyle, like drinking alcohol, eating junk food, and staying up all night. I eliminated daily unnecessary stress and started a body cleanse.

Fact is that Endo feeds on estrogen, sugar, wheat, alcohol and much more. So if you have regularly a glass of wine, beer or a vodka cranberry, eat cake, chocolate and ice cream and have lots of wheat in your diet, you are not only triggering the overgrowth of yeast in your body you also create the perfect environment for Endometriosis.

I was doing everything of the above. After cleansing my body I actually used myself as my very own guinea pig and tested what kind of food will give me the bloating and pain of my abdomens and let’s never forget the awful back pain most of us experience. It took me over 1 year to create the perfect diet for me, and to be honest I don’t believe that my diet would benefit anybody else out there, so I won’t even go into detail. In case of Endo, every woman should find her own diet that fits her best with still being able to eat and drink what she desires, just in the moderation without feeding anymore of the Endo tissue which is permanently planted in her body.

There are also other benefits attached to a healthy diet and lifestyle! Your skin will look beautiful without spending hundreds of dollars on expensive cosmetics. After a few months you will notice you look younger and feel so much better! You also will notice that you won’t have so much weight struggle.

I struggled with high blood pressure for years, maybe because of the medications I was prescribed, maybe because of my wrong diet or maybe it was a combination of both. My high blood pressure went away 3 months into my diet change.

In my opinion it’s a win – win situation no doctor is able to give and provide for you and the best of all is, it won’t cost you an extra dime and you don’t need medical insurance!

Believe me, it can be done, step by step, one day at a time. Remember there’s no cure for this disease (at least not yet!) but there’s relief and it’s relief that will pay out for you.

Now Ladies! It all sounds really fantastic but I always have to urge every single woman to stick to the basics and stay within the outlines of your own created lifestyle map! It’s very easy to fall of the track when feeling all of a sudden great. I have done it and I still do! Sometimes there are situations where you just sin and overdo it with unhealthy eating and drinking and you can be sure your body will let you know the day after for days to come.
