Below are my recommendations, if you would like to learn more about food, minerals and vitamins essential to your health and happiness and this is not just for Endometriosis Sufferers. These books will also teach all food groups you have to avoid! Reading them gave me so much insights that I am now able to manage my health, well being and happiness. I am 44, had hysterectomy 4 years ago, I am supposed to have menopausal symptoms (I don’t) but feel and look 10x better than I did 10 years ago. I had thyroid surgery (3 nodules removed and some of my thyroid) and I have not been on any thyroid medication since I was 22 years old. I haven’t seen a doctor in years, except for my yearly blood work and check up and both always come back 100% in the green. I have been on Xanax, Celexa, and Paxil to control my anxiety, depression, mood swings, nervousness and insomnia. I felt like a zombie, had no desire to do anything, yoyoed my weight from low to high and high to low. Those meds made my skin look awful and I looked 20 years older than I really was. Of course I also was prescribed all the different BCPs to control my PMS, heavy bleedings, hormonal imbalances, pains etc. Each one had a different side effect, which was treated again with a different RX! After no more drugs were left to try last resort was hysterectomy and this surgery did not make Endometriosis go away. So, I know where you are coming from and what you are going through!
Take the journey, educate yourself and find the true you within yourself without heavy medications and weekly doctor and/or ER visits. If you are still breathing it’s not too late to turn your life around. If you are one of my very young readers (young = teens through twenties) take advice from someone who’s already been through hell and fire. I know, when you are young you want to keep up with your friends and do the things they do. Life sometimes throws us a curveball and we can either stop the game, analyze the situation and take charge OR as most of us do (me included), get wrapped up in the ‘drama’, wiggle through, feel depressed, point fingers at others why they don’t have the answers / help for us and stay in this vicious cycle for years. Unfortunately this vicious cycle does not end by itself and it drags us down further and further mentally, physically and financially. It starts with one simple doctor’s visit and 1 or 2 prescriptions. Those meds will just mask the current aches and pains but not cure them. Then you realize you have side effects from the drugs and you look for help again. Now you get RX’s for the side effects and possible replacement drugs for the first ones. Your entire body spins out of control, you gain or lose weight, you feel depressed, you have mood swings, people around you avoid you or you cocoon yourself and avoid people (toxic relationships start), you deal with new symptoms on top of the old ones, you don’t understand what’s going on, you just want to feel normal again, doctor might prescribe some anti-depressant on top of everything else and those turn you in a zombie and the cycle continues. Does this sound familiar? Yes I have been there too and it feels like there is no way out. If you stop everything completely, analyze your situation, and listen to your body and also work with your body, you can change everything and get to the other side living a happy and positive life. You might not be able to drink alcohol like a drunken sailor or party like a Rock Star, but life has other good things for you planned. Have an open mind, don’t be a follower and become a leader. Become your own leader! Don’t listen to the negativity, e.g. you can’t have a baby or other limitation people burden you with. First of all there are no limitations if you don’t let them happen and second turn the negative into something positive and everything will fall in place. Declutter your life, manifest your goals every day, appreciate simple steps forward and never let setbacks kill your spirit. The books below teach you about everything I just mentioned. I have read every single one of them and even more. These books became my teacher and mentor and created a complete new person. But in order to get to this breakthrough you have to study your food and environment and don’t hesitate to use the tools what are provided to you, open these doors and walk through!

This is one of my most favorite books I have ever read. It completely opened my eyes and mind how I can use something as simple as food to manage Endometriosis, my Anxiety, my Dry Skin, my Aging, the roller coaster with my Thyroid, Migraine, and Allergies (I had about 20+ different allergies). I am even able to manage menopause with diet. My hysterectomy was 2010 and I still have not taken any hormones, I rarely have any hot flashes, weight gain or anything else related to menopause. I can only recommend it to anyone trying to transform from feeling miserable to feeling great and young. I have been allergic to cats since I was a baby. Cats and horses put me in the hospital at first contact. These days, I have 5 cats, I carry them, I play with them and I have zero reaction to them! I was on cortisone all my life for terrible terrible eczema and dry skin. My eczema and dry skin are completely gone and I do not use any medication. When I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter I developed high blood pressure and high cholesterol. After delivery they had me on meds for years, saying my high blood pressure has to do with my thyroid and my thyroid has to do with my anxiety and my anxiety has to do with stress and my stress is the reason for high blood pressure … so what comes first? The chicken or the egg? Now a days I do not have high blood pressure, I do not have high cholesterol nor to I have anxiety or stress. And it’s not because the doctors finally found the right combination of Meds, it’s because I eat right and do not take any meds at all. All my Medications these days are proper food, vitamins, minerals, exercise and water!

Please never ever forget this fact while you are healing your body! Pharma is great for a quick fix, but in the long run the meds will kill you (just look at the warnings on the packages!!).

I call it my Chakra Cleansing Book. I have read this book 3 times and every time it gives me another boost forward.
If you got a monkey mind like me meditation is probably a problem. I never was able to just sit or lay down and meditate. My mind was making me crazy, and by the time I finished “My Meditation” I had more anxiety than before I started, because of all the raising thoughts I had in these 10 or 20 minutes I tried to meditate! Week after week after week and finally my mind started to quiet down. So it is true, you can train yourself. These days I need my meditations like my morning cup of coffee. And yes I was a disbeliever and thought I would never ever be able to do such a thing – WRONG! Meditation will ground you, will give you a certain calmness and also a strength you never thought you have. It will put you in touch with your innerself. Endometriosis and stress do not go well together. Anything you can do to cut out stress will also cut down on Endometriosis. I only can recommend it to anyone.
